Yep, very. I'm getting those Shark DSkwal helmets for R3700 from Linex, which I made part of my financing. That sam helmet currently at FT Fourways, R2800 :erm:

I still can't understand how they would have multiple stores up North and still not a single one in Cape Town.

1k diff.

The jacket i got for 2699 was 5500 at a dealer shop. Really worth going there to check stuff

Just literally had Kia add a warranty for my warranty as well as some paint bull**** and other snake oil.

But if they are forcing it on you as part of the deal, never mind the contrast to their "free" integrity nonsense then they must really **** off.

You might as well just buy a ZX10 anywhere else then and get your own extended warranty from Liquid Capital or whoever and not bother with them at all for their benefits.

I bought the GS because I wanted the reliability after a nightmare with the 390.

But yes, the offroad scene was never for me. I'm incredibly allergic to dust anyway.

I want the scream and power curve only an inline 4 can provide. It also fits my personality better.

Can't go wrong then.

If it had an hydraulic clutch it might have won me over too.

If crummy automatic scooters can do wheelie, the DCT can do it too. It doesn't have traction control iirc so there is nothing stopping it from happening

Sure but the clutch comes into play when you are in traffic and need to feed it a little revs as it's utterly useless under 6k rpm.

Funnily enough when I demo the RS and XR I found the RS quickshifter worked so much better.

Now that I own the RS I find it can behave a bit oddly when the bike gets really hot stuck in traffic etc.

Wonder if the XR is the same.

Did have my quickshifter replaced under warranty though so it's better but still not perfect.

That may be because the liquid in the clutch changes viscosity to quite a large degree when hot. There have been several stories of the GS/GSA struggling to shift after technical riding which is heavy on the clutch

Yup I believe it's exactly that.

Most noticeable when it peaks over 90-degrees.

These gearboxes are *** without the QS so it doesn't surprise me that it would be apparent with it too.

Fortunately it camouflages it most of the time.

Apparently the 2017~ models are vastly improved with the new gearbox.

I just treat it like an abusive husband then it behaves consistently.

The only way you can do this I think is holding the front brake, gunning it, and then letting go of the break

That will just make for a burnout...

Even if it works though...it means that it can wheelie so you are proving the point then.

It's all about how big your balls are and how much you can ham-fist the throttle but wheelie (and flip) it will.
