whats the difference between the skwal and D-skwal? i have the skwal.

As for wind i do get some air flow around my chin but not so much that its an issue and that's before i got a buff so it shouldn't be bad at all.
Was a bit chilly this morning but wasn't as issue at all, in fact i didn't even think about it. Skwal works nicely for me riding upright.

As far as I know the lights are the only difference.

It could just be a fit issue then, there is a finger gap between my chin and that material chin curtain on the helmet. A buff seems a more economical choice than a new helmet I guess.

On the plus side, I have never had a day of fog on my visor, even in the rain.

I have been riding bike probably longer than you have been alive , 44 years ago there was not a lot of traffic much less than now .

Yeah. But thankfully, I did listen to a lot of advice that was given, thus bought second hand - and it has crashbars on it. So a little scratch on the crashbars. Nothing else :)

congrats with the new bike! BUT, please take extra care until you have more skills
 
10w-40 from Janjira Motorspares is not the same as 10w-40 from the Motorbike shop.

I bought and poured in car oil in my bike. I had some clutch and gear issues. Couldn't engage some gears or the clutch would slip...

Got the correct oil and drained the old oil.

After 1 day the bike feeling better already.

I'm buying oil filter and more oil tomorrow and doing a oil change again.

The thing to look out for here is any added friction modifiers are a no-no for bikes with a wet clutch system that shares gearbox and motor oil.

The friction plates inside the clutch don't like friction modifiers (also called 'energy saving oil') and normally you'd need to replace those plates after contamination with the incorrect oil as they tend to absorb the oil to an extent.

There is a link somewhere on the internet explaining the different oil specs and what the abbreviations and so on mean. Will see if I can find it somewhere.
