The difference is that people are moving into the void due to being unable to comment in their own words: all words must conform to editorial policy (whatever that is).How does this differ from any other thread?![]()

This user added so much value to the article /slow clap.
And yet my reply to say what it actually needs to be and why it's better was deleted/not approved.
Who is moderating these comments? I think you need someone else/stop with this BS.
Only enforces the notion that they aren't up to the task. There's nothing wrong with removing comments that shouldn't be there like attacks. Sure there's still mistakes to be made but fewer comments fit the criteria. Deciding which comments should be allowed however requires a lot more judgment and more mistakes would be made or someone just doesn't like your comment and don't want to go through the trouble of approving it. This invariably results in censorship.maybe you need to simplify your response, sometime too 'detailed' confuses who ever is deciding. think like brick tamland from anchorman.
lol, ive noticed those type of responses too, also wondered why its there while other people are getting blocked

MyBB butthurt again....When you try to thank someone for giving more info than the article
Let me guess "Email some idiot licking his arse if you feel your comment added to the article"
I am sorry but I am an expert in my line of work.
An article was published today which I call "smart advert". Its the biggest load of bollocks this side of the internet. I am happy to give the correct info, but what for, just so that you can push a publish button and make money off my hard-won expertise?
These changes are now to shut out those who are not "yes men" and are rather trying to point out the flawed articles.
Count me out, I am not going to comment on news articles for some glee club points. As it is, I have "NewsFeed" on ignore. Might as well add the rest and continue engaging with friends in Off-Topic
I notice a lot of my comments about MyBBs journalism are getting removed from articles, for no reason other than them trying to make their image look better.
Is that fair comment? What is the standings there?
Jack you? Off?Wow! There was a flashback to the 80's, boarding school, collar clad priest of Irish heritage about to jack me whilst saying "Ag Shem Child!"
