Ride the gravy train while you greedy bastards can, the cable is coming, and we will leave you mongers high and dry.
At this rate that may also turn out to be one big disappointment.
Was that on NeoGhost's online coverage map, or was it something the two different sales consultants said over the phone?I was on the phone yesterday for an hour with Neotel trying to order 15GB NeoFlex package. The phone line went dead and I could not remember the name of the consultant that I spoke to. The consultant that helped me searched for an open application under my company name, but was unable to find any. I was forced to restart the entire process wasting another hour.
However... this was soon to be interrupted. Yesterday morning my office had good to fair coverage and was completely surrounded by coverage. By yesterday afternoon when I reapplied we had no coverage and there was only coverage a couple of hundred meters away to the Southwest.
We have now decided against using Neotel as we are unable to rely on them any of their services.

after waiting months for a spot of coverage, just to be let down down by neotell. can just as well wait a few months more for telkom1 to actually install a line for me(waited 5months now)
Neotell you failed us all.![]()
NeoGhost and its CDMA2000 coverage are even more pathetic than I had thought. It was on their online coverage map. We had no coverage prior to December 2008, then had very good coverage until I ordered the service yesterday. Now we have no coverage.
I was very annoyed at the Neotel call centre staff for not trusting me when I told them that I had checked the map and that I had coverage, but I was still required to direct them street for street to the corner where our offices are located. So much for customer-business trust.
Oh and BTW, if their arguement is how fast you can download/upload, they should make the packages UNCAPPED instead of making you pay per GB.
i will wait and see what the new seacom cable will do to this country prices should drop and caps should increase, then every one will be happy lets just wait and see....
Telkom offers prepaid.
Why can't neotel offer a prepaid service where the customer buys the neotel device and stays on prepaid? Blacklisted people will welcome this option.
