New Smart TV or streaming/casting device?

Ah it seems Netflix & Apple don't really like each.

Apple TV specifically lacks several features offered in other devices, including double thumbs up, integration with the Apple TV app, interactive content, removable titles in “Continue Watching”, “Play Something”, the ad-supported plan and top-10 lists.

This lack of a revamp seems to be a deliberate choice. One of the iOS designers behind the redesign announcement responded to some questions about the tvOS app in a tweet, informing users that they had “been giving it some love”. No further details about an update for the Applw TV Netflix app were given before the tweet was deleted, and users have been suspicious since.

Unfortunately, Apple TV users may have to accept that their Netflix apps will remain lacklustre for the foreseeable future.
 
I was just reading this on Reddit :

Then Bandersnatch came out (the first interactive film), an Netflix didn’t care to update the tvOS app to support it. Things went downhill since then. Netflix removed the in app purchase for the subscription, then refused to integrate into the Apple Tv app. And more recently didn’t carry any new feature into their app."

"So the bitch Netflix is upset that apple released apple tv + as a new streaming app from apple against all major streaming services. So netflix decided to keep their app completely **** on apple tv and refused to support the apple tv app connect feature. The chief executive already stated this on media multiple times"
 
Actually pretty inconsistant ... because your link to Netflix is 3.7 if I open on the browser, but 4 if I open the same link on the phone ?

iOS can play Netflix interactive … but their dedicated high end steamer can’t. That’s just as inconsistent as the rating! Or their photo sorting !

I am also fascinated.
You always have a problem with every single Apple product.
Do you search on google every Sep/Oct for possible Apple flaws so you can come highlight them and claim you wanted to use those apps?

It is actually fascinating that someone that dislike something, spend most of their time discussing it. Most intelligent people don't waste their time with things they don't like.

Why would I want you to stop? Its great to watch you handle your emotions.

I hate to point out the obvious , but this is a forum where people discuss?

And it’s forum about technology?

And this particular thread is about the Apple TV and streamers?
