Nope, you won't. We've put in some safeguards to prevent this as we know there are bound to be one or two little bugs to be ironed out, so the account provisioner doesn't change billing just yet - that switch goes live manually soon. :D

It's ok now. I sorted it out with support. I hope they chose the super fast, problem-free one.
 
I'm also seeing shaping on the NNTP front (whether using the crystal web newsserver or my own astraweb account). Currently only seeing 190 to 240kb/s on a 10mbps line. speed test maxes out awesomely, youtube streams beautifully.

Whats going on with NNTP? I thought all shaping was released between midnight and 6am. Plus aren't we meant to have completely unshaped connections until we hit the 200GB threshold on this account type?
 
tried putting in my new settings but the download that was running line speed right before switching is now running at 50kbps. think the new shaper is broken :(
(im talking https and all my other accounts work fine)

torrent work fine...my http is useless though :/

EDIT:
second time turned 7:00am http went from 50kbps to 900kbps :P, I think the shaper is on backwards for http for some reason

Got the same with NNTP, started flying at 7am. Definitely shaping happening on a capped account that is supposed to have been unshaped. (This was what I was told by support before I signed up)
 
signed up today. How long does it take for the application to be processed?

I got a mail this morning stating my account is active - crystalweb726 - But is does not work.

Please, I've contacted support twice, promised mails, PM'd crystalweb but nothing?

Seems shaping is back in effect - again 2m to 3m speeds on NNTP on 10m line. In the meanwhile Crystal Web seems to ignore the posts here regarding this problem.

I did leave a message for support last night and am again busy with them this morning. Im getting full speed on everything except NNTP on a paid news server. Getting full speed on the same news server with my backup account.

Update: support let me run some test to show there is no shaping. Yet it's running slow only with this account. Not very happy right now and already contemplating cancelling my account as it seems I am just getting shrugged off.

Tested now with p2p and its also running slow. HTTP download is running at max speed though.

Is news servers working for you?

Do you use the same login details as for router?

Mine not working, invalid username or password...
 
90% of my news failed last night, all while not downloading at line speed. Useless premium news server and so much for unshaped as well.
