I thought I had seen the lowest ping ever (259ms) when I had the test account ..... logged in game a few minutes ago and I have 248ms to North American servers. Please, if you did anything, keep it that way! :D
 
Constantly throttled (not shaped) to 250KB/sec on Torrents at any time of day, on a Business capped account. 17h35 on a Sunday evening doesn't seem like it should be a busy time, specially not on business class accounts. Funny how switching to a normal Openweb capped account immediately gets me full 20mbps line speed on exactly the same torrents. Only got 10mbps on NNTP earlier in the day on CW too. Sorry to say I'm not regretting my cancellation - I thought the IPC upgrade was meant to solve these issues?

The fix for Capped Accounts should take place on 25 June.

First time I'm hearing of this. You guys aren't doing a great job of communicating with customers unfortunately.

It involves some complex changes by our Upstream Provider, We received an update about this towards the end of this week, We find that it is not affecting all clients, Only some in specific geographic areas on Home Capped Accounts.

My speeds for the last few days have been horrible, to the point where it becomes unusable. Changed now to my backup account and waiting for support to get back to me. If it carries on like this I'm moving back to Webafrica.

Can you elaborate on the "fix"?

I'm on Home Capped and my account has been superb since I've moved to it from the uncapped account. Had a few issues here and there but nothing major. No recent issues. I'm in Durban so I don't think I've been affected my the IPC issues in CPT.

Will this "fix" affect me and if so, how?

It should not affect you in Durban, The fix is only for certain Home Capped Subscribers in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
