We are in the process of getting working data on the home capped products and I am not kidding. The big challenge is to have a big enough balanced pipe

- sadly I may be unable to share details with you guys in future on MyBB
 
your silence just fuels the nerds to snoop with things they shouldn't, this will just create more secret CW client groups sharing "Government secrets" to each other...

press releases and email are your friend ...
hell there might even be a reason to use NNTP in the old school manner

this changes everything...

But spare me the work; you guys are moving all your accounts to your own managed backbone and none of this "WA profile *resalecough*" stuff will apply when you do right?

the profile used for home capped accounts isn't a bad profile but the problem is that they aren't on the pipe they should be
when we can have them under our full control and on the general pipe things improve a lot - BUT it is madness to migrate all accounts and have the approach of not ensuring that you have a decent mix of users in the same pipe ...
(glosses over the cough ...)

so at the moment this is the cause of much grey hair

Can't resolve TS server (my guildmates can).
Wildstar latency just shot up to 550ms =/

Paul - so whats the outlook for Home Capped - tomorrow is cancellation day.....
 
Hmmmm, as long as you don't mess with my Premium Business Account...... :wtf:

Last night I "lost a MB" on my speed, from 8.5mb to 7.5mb which is unusual... but it was only yesterday.... no problem streaming, but I will be re-testing this evening again :P

HD streaming was still perfect last night :love:

Just don't go all "Robin Hood" on the accounts please ! ;)
 
Hi Guys,

Looking for feedback as to the quality of the 2mb uncapped and premium uncapped. Are there any serious cavaets i must be aware of?

Will mostly use the account for gaming and then doing NNTP stuff after hours (it's not that important). 'Must haves' include a stable ping and decent streaming quality for twitch / youtube (I'm happy with 'Medium' / <480p).

Just some context, I am in an area where Afrihost CANNOT deliver a stable ping on their capped products and their uncapped products sit permanently at the maximum shaping policy. Have been using VOX and now a free trial Crystal Web account to game on and the pings have been heavenly for me.

Any feedback will be much appreciated!

I would recommend the Premium Uncapped for you. Should be perfect for what you want to do NNTP, Gaming and Streaming.
 
My advice: avoid VOX.... and another item to note is that I believe that the CW trial account is based on their Premium package.

I would take a Prem package. :love:
