Guys I need your help here. How is Netflix and Hulu on the OW uncapped accounts?
 
Streaming is good, but this is CW not OW.

I've logged into my home machine several times from work throughout the day and on my 4mb account am seeing speeds in excess of 400kb/s, yet when I get home after 5pm I consistently (at least since starting at CW 2 weeks ago) see 100-200kb/s.

Note, I've only tested NTTP, but other protocols could be affected as well during the same periods.

Between 5pm and 11:59pm is still considered as peak time. This is the time the screamers use their bandwidth.
 
Anyones newshost speeds running slow? Mines running at 2MB line speed on a 10MB account.. wtf???

If you read the documentation you would see to use multiple threads you need to add the following to the command "--hls-segment-threads=10 --hds-segment-threads=10" this allows it to download with 10 threads.

Using this "--hls-live-edge 10 --hds-live-edge 10" will create a 10 second buffer for the stream so you wont have too many freezes.

Been using this for the past two weeks.

Complete command is "livestreamer twitch.tv/*streamer name* best --hls-segment-threads=10 --hds-segment-threads=10 --hls-live-edge 10 --hds-live-edge 10"

I also changed it to be using MPC-HC
 
Youtube keeps on buffering tonight, reverts back to 480p the whole time (10mbps).

This would probably be the fastest im cancelling an account with an ISP .. Not impressed
