I did it way back in the day. The closest I come to torrents is when I download my Linux iso's on my alternative solution.

That Tixati app plays VERY NICE with my mtn uncapped. Thanks to the person who suggested it. I would love to have some sort of internet at my Telkom less complex next year though. (Looks at CW. )

Firewall rule maybe, exact same thing happened to my Billion router after a firmware upgrade, bloody thing decided the firewall must be on.

I can ping to the Router now I see, but no net according to my wife. Ugh UnoDns.

Try ping a direct IP, like 196.22.142.217 (CW).
Strange though, my DNS resolution works fine at the moment (with UnoDNS).

Had a couple of Http downloads. Most maxed my line or close to it. Some were done with a downloader and others we're single thread downloads. Also checked a torrent. All ran well.

Nttp that ran through the night, managed 140 to 220 kB/s. That is halve of my line speed, but it probably shared bandwidth with torrents. No errors.
Happy with the performance.

Having gone through quite a few pages of posts, is there anyone with 10Mbps or greater consistently seeing full line speed on their Tier 1 data for NNTP, Torrents and downloads in general (even before the current issues set in) ?

Just guessing to be honest. I cant log in via winbox and webfig throws me out after 10 seconds, frustrating lol. Maybe one of those Chinese hackers got to my system eventually.

Last Sunday had my turn. Support replied nothing wrong on there side. Go figure, last night used there Username and Password. It worked but not last Sunday.

Yeah will try my free Afrihost account just in case, but if my RB can ping google I suppose it is either my network (don't know how) or DNS.
