Having gone through quite a few pages of posts, is there anyone with 10Mbps or greater consistently seeing full line speed on their Tier 1 data for NNTP, Torrents and downloads in general (even before the current issues set in) ?
Yes. Me. 10mb.

Yeah, but you also know Mikrotik, if you don't fiddle with it then all should be well, at least what I think lol. Mangle rules are just for my q trees. But I also have 3 wifi routers at home, so either a wifi router broke, a lan port on the rb broke, or all of the above lol.
 
Check that the default mangle rules for mtu adjustment are still at the top of the list. Mine moves them to the bottom randomly.

Nope, getting around 4m all the time on 10m line. Only with CW though. My other accounts run fine.

I have a 20Mb line and do not get the speeds I expected with CW.
 
*&^%#$%& one of my 3 routers died. :( Oh well, found the problem at least. Or a port on my mikrotik. :(

Are you taking credit cards or still only EFT?

EFT now. But the payment gateway integration is rolling into the newly released portal this month.

On that note, we will be releasing an update to the customer portal this evening. A small snippet of what to expect is below:

This is not the first time you guys have promised a fix.
Sorry if my trust levels are not super high at the moment but I don't feel I am getting what I paid for at all.

I know that feel, I really want to hold out for the CW guys and I'm biting the bullet of being an early adopter and also bearing the fact that they worked hard for me to resolve an issue with Telkom, but when the family and the PA keep moaning because they can't get stuff done and I have to switch to a back up account for downloads it starts creating a sense of doubt and the need to start looking elsewhere, however, having said that I'm gonna bite the bullet and hold out until the end of the year as come December/January we pretty much shut down anyway and I can get by until then

The performance I'm getting on Vox for example is just night and day compared to CW at the moment.
I thought signing up to a 20Mb would have helped CW but it really didn't.
I can't even stream Hulu on HD.

Yes, there is an issue which is getting fixed up - we know the performance is not where it should be at the moment, and as previously mentioned we are resolving it now, I can assure you on that one.
