CW, any known issues?

Hi Iwojima - yes, certain download protocols will have some issues at the moment. Current ETA to fix it is the end of this week.

The network across the spectrum is under pressure until the network rollout is completed end of this week, which is affecting tier 1 services - rather than allow contentions to increase across the spectrum and risk anything untoward happening across all protocols, QoS of the network is adding contention rather to download protocols instead to ensure that other services used by our subscribers like Netflix and YouTube are not affected, while keeping gaming pings as consistent as possible too. Download protocols are slower than should be at the moment.

I'm a diabetic and my eyesight is terrible.

My screen might be adjusted to suit my eyes ito brightness, contrast and color, but the lime green with the white font does not work for me.(2nd icon)
When I hover with mouse pointer it turns to a darker green which work well for me.
Is there a possibility to have look at the fill color / font color option please?

If it is just me, then it is cool.

I also don't like the idea of my Password being visible on the very first screen as you open that 2nd selection.
Can't it be available on a secondary screen. If someone stand next to me, my password will glare at them.
 
It's part of the new network rollout this week. Hulu essentially changed their SSL streaming ports and the servers they deliver content from keeps changing as well - so occasionally it's not being recognised correctly. Fixing as we speak. I'm a big fan of Hulu so it's one I am following up on closely.

I'm very happy to hear this. A solid Hulu experience is one of the deal breakers for me and I'd hate to have this be cited as the reason for our e-divorce.

Perhaps the password should be hidden by default with an option to un-hide it.
 
So switched back to my CW account and while it connects. Nothing loads.
No idea if I used up my cap or there is an issue with my account :\.

Support are definitely online - I'm in the office doing some training with the guys and we are alerted (rather loudly) to all incoming chats.

Can you PM me your details so I can have a look at your account to see if the cap was hit? Certainly not something on our end blocking any connections, that's for sure.

Just ask a support agent quickly and they can do it for you. You've still got plenty gigs left though so no rush to do so now if you don't need to. We'll add this into the portal soon as well.
 
Some tweaks were made to Hulu tonight - may not be permanent and may not fix everything, but anyone still up, can you test to see if it's streaming better?

Testing here in HD without a hitch now, with a full buffer, admittedly on a 20Mbps line.

Will continue working on getting all Hulu servers recognised properly again now.
 
Tied into this network update is BTW something pretty awesome happening at the end of this month with respect to streaming services, especially one of those you just mentioned. Stay tuned for news about that.

Still curious what that is.

12am ish youtube, downloads and gaming got a lot of issues. Including ping spikes to mweb servers?

Seems that youtube is running now but you can see it barely does 360p at the moment...

There is some sort of fault on the Telkom network right now. Seems something has gone belly-up on the network in certain regions at the moment for many Telkom customers. Looking into it now.
