What does the 19th bring?
A promise of upgraded performance? Like before?

Edit: Powercycle not reboot.

Eish... all this confusing terminology. Powercycle. Powercycle. Powercycle. Ok, I think I got it now.
Well technically it's the 18th :o Nothing to do with promises but rather a simple question - am I getting what I'm paying for [yet]? If not then cancel, if yes then give them another [-]chance[/-] month.

I'll probably just cancel though ...because I kinda forgot to last last month and right now I'm using a capped WebAfrica account so I've pretty much answered my own question already :/

That's always been my golden rule - if I have to use another ISP's free or paid account on a regular basis to get decent performance, then something is terribly wrong. The End.

Uhh, Paul/Shaun please take a look at the packetloss again. It was running so well two nights ago with almost no loss.

Currently getting 0.5% loss to exchange but over 9% to a french server :/

The packet loss to your exchange is definitely not caused by CW, this could be why your having more packet loss further down your tracert.

Except that I got the same level of international packet loss with zero local loss. See image in my post above.

@CW

See a 5min run of WinMTR v0.92 this morning.
Is this normal.
Packets changed from 64bytes to 32bytes and default 1 sec interval.

I have forwarded this also to TelkomZA who requested this info.
Port was reset by him the other day.

Don't look good. Anybody else that wants to post results, then I can compare.
Gaming is still a problem here. Large latency spikes.

Yeah, your situation is different to agentfr. In fact, I too get packet loss on some tracert's, I don't know if this is normal as I never tested for packet loss with my previous ISP's.

Packet loss to your exchange (agentfr) has got more to do with your line as no ISP is involved at this point yet.

Which site did you use in the test?

CrystalWeb, but it does not matter who I use.
Picture stays the same.

Would like to see if someone else would post results that I can compare.

My line was fine till 2 months ago. I even dropped my line speed from 4 to 3mbps.
In gaming you then see latency spikes. Under normal downloads you don't see them.

0.5% packet loss for ADSL is normal, especially for a connection as awful as my one is. The problem is the int. packetloss... can't do things like watch a twitch.tv stream.
