Anybody else struggling with SS streaming?
Frequent spinning circle, occasionally total lack of throughout and constant poor quality (I guess about 380p).
I've refreshed the streams several times.
Must have been a temporary issue. Sorted itself out after an hour or so and is running perfect again.
 
Does support work on weekends? My support ticket of 8 May have not recieved a reply yet. Everything is slow, seems to be throttled at 30kB/s on my 2mb account and still in the "Green" on the usage page.

Btw, usage page loads as if I'm on 56k

I think 08:00 - 16:00 over weekends.

I recently downgraded from the premium uncapped account to the basic uncapped account.
I changed my details in my router on Friday.
Ever since then I have been getting sporadic performance with CW. I know the Basic Account has a lower priority but this is absolutely unusable.

I hope that this is in fact a technical issue on your side and not how the account is going to function permanently.

My pings are still fine with the CW account. But no bandwidth. Speedtest works fine: 1.75mbps down + 0.45mbps up.
Everything else, HTTP downloads, streaming, browsing has all gone to the dogs.

I have been a very happy user with CW and I have been with you from the start, back in the R279 flat account days and have never really had any issues with your product.

I am currently using my Afrihost free 1gb account and that works perfectly for everything.

Same here dude. I gave my my home basic account away to someone else and went to another ISP. Since I got the home basic account it's been nothing but issues. 3 days and no one replied to my support ticket.
 
Really happy with my performance on the 10Mbps Home Premium Uncapped account.

Decided to run a speedtest earlier:

Getting my full line speed on a 2 hour old file on NNTP.

I highly recommend using the IS news server with CW as backup.

Hope you guys get sorted soon!
 
If you ping them, they are they same.

There are two CW news servers. One is just the regular IS news server, the other one (which requires authentication) is the premium news server.

Using the premium one as backup is the best solution as you only get 100GB per month on it (at least on my package).
 
Also experienced poor speeds with the news server.
Using the IS server as default and Premium as backup, I got average completedspeeds of 172KB/s, 123KB/s, 390KB/s and 222KB/s on a 4 Mbps line.
I'm more used to see speeds of 421KB/s plus.

PfSense indicates average speeds of well below 2Mbps for the night.
