I didn't even see the Billing department as an option on live chat earlier, only Support and Sales.

Something is definitely not right.

Are you talking about the line speed upgrades?

I've been praying every night for that to happen. Telkom haven't officially announced they will upgrade us, so it's kind of unfair to blame them for not upgrading us yet.

CW do have inside info IIRC, but they aren't allowed to disclose.

I do hope it happens soon though.

I recall rumors of the 2 to 4 upgrade, which was then sort of confirmed in an announcement from Telkom, but feels like that was ages ago.

I'm currently on 4Mb so just interested to see if anything happens to the 4+ space.

If your exchange doesn't support more than 4 there isn't much that is going to happen to your line. Check if you are syncing on GMT or ADSL2+.

Yea, made sure I checked before I got optimistic about these potential changes. Can get 20Mb from my exchange so all is well :)
 
Hi there CW folks.

That annoying issue with streaming is back. Power cycling did not fix it this time. Start a YouTube video and it spike to 450kB them drops down to 250kB flat and maintains that as even throughput. Using my free 1gb account from AH gives me full line speed. I've reported this before.

No latency or anything out of the ordinary on WinMTRs.

Is this a known issue on your side?

On Home Capped.
 
Getting between 25% - 50% of download speeds.

Anyone else having problems?

Yea getting around 200kB to youtube but around 300kB to twitch :confused:
 
00:43 AM.

Torrents / NNTP / Downloading all limited to 400KBps on a 20mbps line.

Pathetic really
 
Was also having issues last night. Didn't check downloads but Netflix was struggling to stay at 480p.
