If it was not for the fact that I paid already this is the point that I would cancel and go elsewhere.

But not looking good for staying past the end of the month.
 
Guys, just want to mention, their support in general are usually very good. Not sure what has happened lately, but sure they will sort our issues out, just hope they can get the support back to where it was couple of weeks ago.
 
okay guys there was a serious human error mistake in one of the provisioning systems. Fix is busy rolling out. And in about 10 minutes time I have phone calls to make.
 
After hearing good things about CrystalWeb I decided to sign up last night,but I am still waiting for an invoice or login details. I tried contacting them using the web chat feature on their website, but also got no response. Not a good first impression. I looks like I will have to go back to my previous ISP....

Don't think they are on on Sunday nights.

Why did you not send out any notice? I had to wait for 2h30 before someone finally replied to me on support saying:
"Hi, there was a problem with the provisioning system last night and a fix is currently being rolled out."

No ETA, no apology for being unreachable and no further details on what to expect, nothing.

I have a question on windows updates...why are they so super slow on CW? It's the only problem I have. Downloading a 400mb windows updates this morning for my pc and it has been going for an hour and a half and is now sitting at 94%. (10m line and capped account)

Same for me and with mac updates on the mac app store.

Seems these http downloads are not given priority.
 
4Mbit is limited to 0.5Mbit by Telkom. 10Mbit is limited to 0.8 - 0.9Mbit.

I am aware of that. I want to move to a 10 meg Telkom line and keep my 4 meg uncapped account with Crystal web. Was wondering if I would get 4 down and 0.8ish up.

Hmm, based on my experience in the past with other ISPs, I've received 10Mbps line speed upload (0.9Mbps) on non 10Mbps accounts. Sure CW will clarify soon if it works the same with them.
 
Guys I have been having problems the past few days with CW, During weekdays it's impossible to do any online gaming at certain hours. At 5PM in the afternoon it's like a switch is flipped and everything is back to normal but during morning hours we experience high international latency and packet loss. Friday and Saterday night at exactly 11pm on both days again it was like a switch that's being flipped but this time the opposite, we couldn't do anything afterwards.

I have never experienced this before, I live in a small town and not many people uses the exchange. Believe me when I say I have been through Telkom, usually I call them first when having issues.

I spoke to a support person on CW website, I ran the application and posted the results etc, the results clearly showed we are having issues including high latency and packet loss, I was told that the core was reset and I should bounce the modem, which I did as always but the problem persisted. The support person told me to monitor it and report back after a few hours, which was a problem for me because it sounded like he doesn't know what the cause of this is. Eventually after 5pm the switch was flipped and everything back to normal until 11pm.

I don't get home early very often but when I do I have to switch my account details and after 5pm switch it back.

This is on a home capped account.

I signed up for a home capped account on Saturday and haven't received anything yet. Been waiting for online support for over 2 hours but no response. Been using a free account this morning but it is running seriously low. I really hope someone can hook me up with the account details ASAP so I can pay.

After reading all the praise regarding I want to try out CrystalWeb. I submitted a chat question on Saturday (and my added my email). As I did not receive anything, I nudged the online chat today but still haven't heard a peep ...

I would call but their site doesn't have any telephone number.
 
So someone made a monumental F up with my account this month!
Signed up for a 120GB anytime capped account last month and asked it to be activated this morning. This morning..nothing. Account not working. Also tried to login to the usage portal for that account..nothing, so I sent a mail to support to have it looked at.
Had a quick look on the usage portal (i'm at work at the moment so I dont have access to my account) and I was able to login with my account. Only issue is, it's a 4Mbps UNCAPPED account and someone is actually using it!!! (0124608202..thats NOT my number)

Can this f%ck up be sorted asap please?? I'm trying to get a hold of support in chat..nothing
