I see new Update rolled out for Chinese Version today. It fixes a couple of things. I updated was pretty much standard for updating.

Nice to see they are actually doing a lot of updates with fixes. Some Chinese smart phone makers don't even bother with updates.

This means latest Chinese version is Flyme OS 4.5.4.1A

Anyone else have the issue where sometimes the swipe to wakeup gesture doesn't work immediately and you need to do it a few times?

Ok well it worked the second time around.
Everything seems to be working fine at first glance. :)

Also did my update this morning. No issues yet.

It removed the themes app in the international version.

Updated yesterday when I got home with the wifi. Did it OTA. Mine was only a 28meg download. It went fine though and when I check my firmware version it shows 4.5.4.1I

I recently bought the Meize m2 Note and love it! Tragically it slipped out my hand this morning and dropped to the pavement :crying: I had it in a cover (the best one I could find to fit), but despite this it smashed the corner of the screen with a thin crack right across. The phone still works thankfully, but will need to fix it.

Can anyone offer me guidance of what my options are? I've tried contact Orange, still waiting for reply and when I contacted Meizu they just say sorry, Orange not a registered dealer or something to that effect. I don't mind paying to have it fixed and not trying to claim guarantee - it was my fault altho unintentional.

Anyway, hoping someone could help me with advice as I really love this phone!

You might just be better off buying a screen from aliexpress and then taking it to one of the repair shops if you can't do it yourself.

Mine too...guess the big patch is for people who were on the original firmware (hadn't done any previous patches).

Phone feels a bit snappier though that's probably just the reboot.

Thnx, will look into it. Orange also sent me a list of repair centers as apparently they don't do the repairs themselves.

I'm fairly certain I applied all the previous updates to mine.. I think the large patch might've had to do with me rooting the phone cos I noticed I lost root access after the update and had to re-root it again.
