Yet he was imo the leading (SA) fullback in the S14. Who do you feel "out-shined" him?
 
Peterson has only just returned to domestic dutues from a 13 month injury. There was absolutely no way he was going to be selected for the Bok squad. In fact he's going to struggle to make the WC squad too...

Yes at least Schalk learnt his lesson and has now drastically reduced his yellow-card count.

Bakkies on the other hand never seems to learn...

What was the yellow card actually for? Bobby Skinstad thought it was "harsh" but he didn't mention the infringement...

All Blacks have exploited JDV on the wing, he hasn't played there for a long time, his intercept obsession and not forgetting he is slower now.

Bakkies with his normal discipline issues.
 
We getting hammered today, just one of those things, Blacks are hungry, we're a little complacent. The bounce of the ball and the 50/50 calls favour Blacks, ref not allowing man on his feet to contest for the ball at the breakdowns so team in possession of the ball can hold it until they make an unforced error. Blacks are masters at retaining ball where we not... Could be a long day... Ai....
 
Any bets sa are going to resort to what they know best in the second half, blue bull rugby, kick the high ball from steyn and hope it bounces lucky.

The way things are going tonight perhaps they would be better off. Problem is the kicks from Steyn, Ricky and Zane have been completely mis directed and ineffective. Jean and Brian no where on the chase and barring Fourie catching one it's not a tactic that's going to work for us tonight...
