To be honest, I didn't read it that well. It's just a good informative piece. If our Coach was...well someone else, I wouldn't mind being extremely optimistic. But over the years Iv'e seen his poor decision making. The B&I Lions tour made his head so big, he can't think properly... not that he can anyway. I reckon we will probably make the quarters by a whisker, go on into the semis and get knocked out comprehensively. I hope i'm proven wrong though.

You think our full strength side can win on Saturday? I doubt it!! Ultra competitive yes, but unlikely to win...

As for the Boks in disarray article!!! Tell us something we don't know. Smit aint a prop, no s hit, our backs aint scoring tries, no s hit, the writer goes on to say Rassie's had a whole 2 weeks to work with the Boks!!!! Is he serious!!! 2 weeks???!!!! To make an impact and turn it around???!!!! Gees, unrealistic expectations, seriously!!! It took Clive Woodward 4 years to fix England, Graham Henry has had God knows how many chances to win a world cup with the AB's.... but we expect to see a turnaround in 2 weeks....??!!!!

The ABs are resting some of their top guys so I believe we could beat them yes :)

True enough. I am staying positive. I will support the bokke even if they are super shlt :o
 
Heres to praying we get a proper Coach in the next couple of months. If not, I won't be supporting the Bok Clowns anymore...

I think the Bokke will need a total makeover. Off hand we will probably be losing 6 boks after the World Cup. So SA rugby will have to go into a huge rebuilding phase. New coach and this coach will have to build up a new team. It's going to take the bokke at least a few years to get back to where they were.

Peter must go, irrespective if he wins the World Cup

Imo it started with Jake White already.

Under him we played only "big" players. Brussouw wuld NEVER have played under white barring if some big chief from upstairs ordered it to be so.

I think the problem is less with the coaching team.

Also we must start holding on more to the local talent and have less of them ship overseas to go play there.

We have enough youngsters to fill all the positions that will open after WC 2011 and do an equal, if not better job, than the senior players they are replacing.

Agreed. Lambie at 15 also makes a lot of sense to me... Bismark at 2.... Very competent side... Just holding thumbs no injuries to key personnel... So AB's on Saturday and then the next time we see the Boks in action will be just over 3 weeks later against Wales in the World Cup!!!! ANYONE ELSE EXCITED??!!!! I got a semi here.... :p

There usually is an upset or two, even England beating Aus last time round was a nice upset.

I would rather have the Aussies in the Semi finals and the ABs in the Finals. But that is highly unlikely :(

If we don't win our pool we could meet OZ in the quarters!! Knock them over in the quarters and we would meet either France or England in the semi's...

Could very well be a NZ vs OZ world cup final though.... unfortunately...
