Where?I'm pretty sure I heard OP were going to be doing the 7Pro for $449... base model I suspect, but if true that represents outstanding value!

Great review and I completely agree with him. The trade offs to the OP 8 Pro is significant and with those trade offs it doesn't make is worth buying. It's a good phone but it won't be a good buyOnePlus 8 Review: Special No More! - MKBHD
Such a pity. The OnePlus 8 has improved almost no specs over the Oneplus 7T, yet launched at $699 vs $599. Only 5G and slightly better battery life. The performance increase of 865 over 855+ is not much.
7T is available for $430 now.

I can just imagine how even more overpriced it would be if it had to come to SA especially at Vodacom on contractAfter reading and watching stacks of reviews, I think I'll skip OnePlus this year. It is my upgrade year, so will see what comes out later this year. My emotions have been up and down with this phone.
The average consensus is that it's just not worth the money with all the competition out there - especially camera wise. Most complaints about how poor the camera compares to other flagships - and it doesn't improve with software updates. It never has. Cameras are just not their strong point, and now pricing isn't either...
So no comment re the content of the clip? I posted it to debunk your value for money theory. Not for the popularity of its maker.^^
No offense sand_man, but when you start posting links to no name YouTube channels with zero subscribers and negative reviews, you don't hold much water - you're screaming fanboism.

I love OnePlus - been with them since their 3rd series, but no need to go down a YouTube search dive and clutch at straws. We don't need this.
