Playing dota 2 on eu servers with 1500ms on a 10mb gamers king account.

Been terribly slow the last day or so by my side. Can't even stream youtube vids at 360p (only seems to work at 144p). Only after 12 or so does it speed up a bit. Extra shaping on Gold accounts?
 
MrBeep when i play Dota 2 i have these DC's all the time. Really frustrating!!

It's odd. I can YouTube at 720p without a problem, browsing is snappy, Netflix is perfect, but my torrent is still running at 10kb/s and Dota 2 on a local server was jumping between 800 and 1500ms.
 
Nothing but green lights on this end. 4meg Gold account on a 3meg line.

Download Speed: 2917 kbps (364.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

Upload Speed: 414 kbps (51.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

Latency: 49 ms

Can live stream 1080p at 60fps from twitch.tv, NNTP downloads at ~375kB/s, torrents maxing out.

Sucks that you guys seem to be having issues. Have you guys tried setting your MTU to 1492, in combination with a port reset?

EDIT: BF3 pings ~ 8ms, Dota SA pings under 30ms, EU server under 210ms, GW2 ~240ms.

My Netflix was horrible. First time it's been that bad.

@goofball, Surim, Macabre25: Which area are you guys in?

I'm in Tamboerskloof (Gardens exchange). Maybe it is a problem with congestion or problem with the exchange?

Thanks MrBEEP, working nicely now. Speeds greatly improved and everything working as it should. Whatever magic you did to my account seems to have done the trick!

I need to revise that statement. Downloading from IS news server is a lot slower than in the past - right now 10kB/s and even last night I wasn't getting the full 90+ I usually get on my 1Mb line.

You still have my details MrBeep? Any chance you could take another look?

My connection to the IS news server maxes out. PM me a link to the nzb you are trying to fetch, and Ill tell you what speed I get for it.
