We are turning Black Friday into Rainbow Friday and Saturday and Sunday! This weekend will be an OpenWeb Unshaped Experience Weekend!

Clients will be unshaped for the weekend as follows:

Platinum - 17:30
Gold - 18:30
Other Service Levels (Silver, Standard and Vanilla) - 19:30
Everyday - 23:00

The network will be unshaped until Monday morning at 8am.

Im currently on your 1mb gamers king account. Got my free line upgrade from telkom syncing at 2mb now. What will be the better option for mainly downloading. Your 2mb everyday account or stay with the 1mb gamers account ? As they are priced very similar ?

Even better news, Openweb will be honoring their specials prices until end of February for line speed upgrades!

So you should be able to upgrade to 2MB Gamers King at R229 p/m.

Out of interest, where does the 'Downloaders King...' Account fall on this scale?

Not that it matters, I'm getting a pretty consistent 4meg out of my line most of the time.

What is the 4Mbps Gamers King Uncapped like? Streaming, downloading, etc. Or should i go for the 4MB Gold... just seems a little bit too much for me at the moment.

I need some assistance here please from anyone on this thread. I have pretty much done everything i can possibly do regarding the speeds i get on my account. I attach speedtest results for 2 accounts. The first 2 are for the account i have a problem with, it si a 4 meg uncapped account. The second is a standard capped account. Then i attach some info on the router. I have done the telkom route, whereby they arrived, had a look, tested, reset, tested again, and then charged me R600 for call out cause there is nothing wrong with my line. So if anyone can assist to tell me why my 4 meg uncapped runs at just over 2 meg, when it is supposedly unshaped and or after hours? Just to set the record, i am not talking about working hours monday to friday, but evenings and weekends. No change. Thanks.

If you download during the day you definitely need Gold.
