Hi there MrBEEP,
I have been on the Gamer's King account for the last month, and I'm not happy with the speeds we are getting.
Here is a speedtest I just did:

Some times the speeds are good at around 200kb/s download, but most of the time it is around 50kb/s, even after hours or over weekends.

Yeah, weekend was brilliant but now 2mb.... 
Not sure I can live with 2mb during office hours. 4mb-5mb during office hours is about as low as I'm prepared to go...

You on a 10mb account? My 10mb Gamer King account is currently shaped to around 4mb (NNTP / HTTP downloads) and full speed on other stuff (YouTube etc.)

EDIT: Emailed support last week and this week and Leon feeds me the same 'the network is busy, wait till 6pm' story. Just mailed my cancellation. Pity, really wanted to this to work but I need the office hours throughput.
The G-power M5 clip is coming off Youtube. Kuk!! The other 3 are coming off Rapidgator premium account. Kuk!!

What speed do gold uncapped get during the day?
On silver uncapped during the day I get 10kbyte/sec from international on NNTP on a 10Mbps silver uncapped account.
At least local is faster, where I get full account speed from news.is.co.za

Today is once again extremely busy due to all the content that was launched last night in the USA.
Coupled with that, Seacom is still down.
Downloads should speed up drastically after around 18:00 when the network quietens down. Right now we are placing priority on business and similar applications

I mean, you're not paying Gold prices like the rest of us so how can you expect it to be unshaped 24/7?
For the price you're paying I'd still say it's a good deal though, 10Mb from 6pm - 6am would give you a lot of linux distro's, imo

Yeah, I'm happy to take a knock during office hours but not 80% of max line speed. 50% sounds reasonable to me. Hell, I would even settle for 40%, but 20%??? Come on??
I mean look at what my stupid silly mickey mouse little Cybersmart 10mb uncapped @ R895 per month including line rental is doing right now.... And don't look at current, look at average...

I am on gold and get only about 1 to 1.5m during the day on my 4m account...

(from international sites http/ftp - local is ok)
