Can someone in the Pretoria area on 4meg Gold uncapped do an international speedtest on mybb please. I would like to see how my speed compares to the 4meg gold uncapped, because I have the feeling that I am on the 4meg speeds 80% of the time rather than 6mb. Thanks

this is a feedback thread so im giving my feedback... Since i have had my Openweb account i have been loving it to bits! great speeds no issues great service.....then the seacom cable goes down....understood there may be speed issues while its down...but since the cable has gone down i have not even been able to connect to a single website local or international. i am currently using my 2gig FNB Connect cap to use the internet. i have had enough now after blaming my router multiple times i have cancelled my account and will most likely be moving to telkom uncapped as i had them on the Free 1Meg package and was overly happy with their service. im not gonna lie its sad to leave openweb but i have had enough of this not being able to use my uncapped for days on end

CoD4 gaming on iburst server unplayable - intermittent heavy lag - despite gamers special. Same for BF3.

Checked...nothing else downloading or otherwise interfering.

Got auto kicked from a local BF3 server just now for packet loss. BF3 pretty much unplayable.

Its pretty intermittent...i.e. every minute or so....so hard to catch on tracerts.

Did a quick informal survey on the cod chat...couple other okes indicates OW lag too. That was the iburst cod server.

On AH now & def better @bf3, but could simply be timing related.

idk...could just be a fluke...usually OW bf/cod is fine at that time.
