Account has not been working for the last hour. Tested FNB, Afri and Cybersmart. All working.

Mr Beep, can you assist? Are you guys having problems? My account has been lagging for the last two weeks.

Edit: Account up and running.

DL speeds and streaming have been extremely slow (10-20kbs) all afternoon. Online gaming is fine though.

Wow been sitting with a ping of 630 to europe all day on a 2mb/s gaming account... is anyone else experiencing this?

I have a ping similar on local games, so just use my 1gb free afrihost account instead. Also on the gamer account

Wow that's even worse xD haha hope they resolve this soon coz it's unbearable... Also busy using my afrihost account :P

Hi.
Hoping you guys can point me in the right direction.

I am currently on a 10Mbps Standard Uncapped account with Openweb, which has been working ok.
I am thinking of migrating to a 10Mbps Gamers King account but have been told by Openweb staff that my current Standard Uncapped is on a superior service level than the Gamers King account so that has left me in tough spot.
Do I "downgrade" as most of my downloading is done after hours which the Gamers King account is advertised at as same level as Gold Uncapped.

How have your experiences been with the Gamers King accounts.

Thanks for assistance.

Why do you want to change?

From personal experience the saying"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" really applies to ISP accounts.

What he said ;)

Just trying to eek out the most possible speeds from my ADSL.
You would notice I said my current account is OK. (Gets shaped as per normal shaping policies etc. Sometimes sucks when networks are busy but always comes back to normal after a few hours. Overall its ok.)
I am looking for maximum downloads after hours as well as an account that works well on Netflix and Hulu.

You won't be downloading any more once you start Netflix.

That aint true. If you want proper 720p quality with 5.1 sound, streaming just doesn't cut it. I like 5.1 and 720p or even 1080p quality TV episodes, so most of mine doesn't get streamed.

Actually Netflix even supports 3D streams if your line is fast nough.
