There are no issues on our side.

We do however know that a few of the CDN's are having issues delivering videos, which will affect a few streaming services including Youtube and Twitch

So once again if u try play dota 2 before 6pm on gamers edition 4mb account just dont bother.. u get pings of 500ms..
a) this account says any gaming traffic is unshaped.
b) its local

so ya think i better look at something else, i bought this account for the exactly its purpose gaming!!
 
More troubles with Supersport streaming and it seems Afrihost is (and has for some time) experiencing the same issues as well...

Edit: streaming fine now. Might be an issue with my router. And I suspect the timeouts are normal. Possibly a server that requires authentication for the score information bar on the site...

During the day the 10mb is disgraceful too
 
We have received a few complaints regarding this, thus engineers are investigating.

The problem we are facing is that we are yet to replicate the issue.

We have assigned a guy to play games all day but its working 100%. We even tried using one of the clients accounts whom complained, no difference. Latency is perfect

We shall prevail though.

Hi Keoma,

I know CT is currently a problem, but boy is it a BIG problem. Getting horrible speeds on 10MB line...cannot stream, cannot game...gmail takes 10 minutes to open. Sadly reverting to my pre-paid Afrihost account now.

Internet is up to schit tonight. Can't watch a thing on Supersport and it's not congestion or router related. So slow in fact that mybroadband's speed test doesn't register a thing...

Changed to an Openweb test account and everything works perfectly, so it is definitely an issue with my account or the shaping being applied...

ya seems Openweb have a problem tonight ....Am sure they working on it though. I see the website gives an orange icon ...meaning webstatus is not good right now.

Please reset my ports .last time that helped.
 
Totally lagged out of a 25man raid that I had to eventually quit. Latencies are all over the place. It settles just under 200 when youre not doing much. Sometimes it goes up to 300-400. When entering a raid, it becomes unplayable until you lag out.

One request I would like to make is about that yellow icon on OW's website (indicating status). It doesn't indicate anything, nor are there any warnings about network issues. Am I missing something? Is the website less sophisticated in that regard?

Yep, sluggish speeds here too - first time in a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time that it hasn't been 100% after 6PM
(I'm getting 50% speed)
 
Same experience for me tonight. On openweb gold, and getting extremely bad throughout. Saw the orange light on the website, but there is no expansion that I can find.

Does anybody know what is going on?
