This is unbearable, movie streaming on all services is crawling... I don't buy it that there are no shaping issues on Openweb, once again I pay for a Gold account so that I can use my Internet to stream in the evenings. Something is really wrong with Openweb over the last week or so.

Apparently Western Cape region is very slow, so if you are in the Eastern or Western Cape, you will be slow. No idea why though, I cannot think that the Apple updates are still causing issues ?

I'm in Jozi, so I don't think it's a Cape issue only.

Yep im getting 140k/s on my 4 megger which usually run at around 430 k/s i am sure the icon on the website green means all is OK and Orange half OK and i quess RED means dead. LOL

Can't blame apple anymore. Things have changed over here. This is normal. Expect full speed after 12 only. That has been my experience for the past 2 or 3 weeks. Gamers king.

If one hovers over the little amber/red light for network status on your website. How about a little popup indicating which regions are affected by the degradation ?

Now this makes no sense at all. My line is working far better now. So much so that I'm achieving speeds that I physically cannot attain. I've tried with various servers on speedtest and get the same results. Bear in mind that I'm on a 2mb telkom account and a 2mb openweb amount. My router shows that my maximum attainable upload speed is 812kbps and that I'm syncing at 512kbps upload. But check this out:

But you're getting less than 2Mbps. I don't see the problem?

Ah sorry I looked at your download speeds.
I wouldn't worry about upload speeds at all, unless you really use it..
