Currently, it is shaped around 20% of a normal month.

I don't mean to be a pain with asking so many questions but I'd rather not jump ISPs another 10 times. So hears one more pls:

Can you give me any data as to how much OW was shaping streaming this month eg. 10% of the time, 40% of the time?

OK, test account seems good. Dropped Leon an email but he hasn't replied yet. Can you please confirm if my test account to is a gamers king one. If it is, I would like to proceed to sign up.

MrBeep I know Twitch streaming issues have been addressed in the past, and for me it always worked if i went to the nl.twitch site.

However a few days ago twitch changed the way and protocol they stream on, is it possible for openweb to look into it and see if this new way they stream can be optimized for us?

Because since the new system using the other address doesn't give any better results then the normal site, and even in the dead of night trying to watch a stream on "high" is impossible since the change.

What is going on again... It's up and down like a bunny rabbit, one minute I can browse Facebook, next everything is dead, the only thing working nicely is MyBB.

Yeah, Gamers King 2mb is totally dead - seems the account only works after dark .... What is alternative DNS servers that you folks use for your OW accounts ?

Do you work for Telkom? o_O
Used to... now I work for myself... fixing IT problems at rich people's homes.

I have been running non-stop all day on the Gamers King package... I am like, WTF is all the problems these people above complain about. Hell, its better than MWEB... the shaping is gone and the line auth problems are also gone. And yes I download stuff.. been busy hard at work today... had to download a lot of stuff.

I think Telkom is to blame... I honestly do. It appears two ISPs are affected, OpenWeb and Afrihost.
I think, like last time.. Telkom cocked-up with the "upgrades" Last time I suffered dearly they turned a perfectly usable ADSL line into a useless piece of crap and it cost me to get a new line.

You can try:

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

If the fault persists, kindly email [email protected]

No it made it worse:cry:

adam, factory reset your router with the reset switch on the back of it. Then re-setup your router.

I found that sometimes this do the trick too.

P.S. make sure you have your account details backed up before doing this.
