OpenWeb ADSL Feedback Thread

What went wrong yesterday? Seems alot of folks, myslef included had authentication issues?

When i got a new account I was told it was a telkom DSLAM port error, but i would love some more information and why login has to change.

What is the difference between a @openweb.co.za and a @mynetwork.co.za account?

PS. All the best for 2014 everyone, hope its the best year ever
does it make a difference?

@openweb.co.za is on the IS network where the @mynetwork.co.za is on the MTN network.
 
Both are on the IS network, but uses different core routing profiles.

Thanks okes, so if both is on the IS network service level would be the same across both accounts?


PS. Why is it that after 30 hangovers last forever, Jees, I'm getting to old for this sh*t
 
No. The routing is different.

However, if you are on Gold for example, moving between different realms will not change this

I am on a Gamers King 2mb, so if i feel that I'm not happy with new account could i request to go back to @openweb as since May I've had zero hassels, and browsing through forums, this switch sounds like it can only bring problems.

not good when openweb support do not know their own products.

where were you yesterday with the authentication issues? how many new accs did you give out?

and what is the explanation? telkom? lol we are all waiting to hear.

I see OW has an uncapped gold (power) account. The 2M is going for R249pm, how's this different from the uncapped gold (leon) at R299 pm? :confused:
 
Openweb, I hope its not only me but i can only browse local sites, do speedtest locally but im unable to access, All international sites are unaccessible !!!
