Mr. Beep I must say that it's very nice to see how interactive OpenWeb is with it's clients. You don't get this much from other ISP's around. Just want to say that you are doing an awesome job accommodating everyone. Keep up the good work.

Hey MrBeep, just to let you know that your news segment thing for November contains what is an honest mistake but false advertising. Near the end, Ilbury advertises your 4meg accounts, he says "Four megabyte per second" and not "megabit", meaning he is advertising something as 8 times faster than it really is.

Thought I'd point it out before *coughafrihostmwebcough* file for false advertising.

Also, something I'm confused about... This standard uncapped promotion says it is free for November, but also says debit order required and before signing up, once all details have been entered it says:

"Accept & confirm - Make payment"

So when is the first debit order? 1 December 2012?
 
Correct. You will only be billed from 1 December 2012

Edit: How long does it take before getting details, etc for a new member? I assume it will be a little while to confirm all the details and bank info is in order

I also just signed up, as this meets my requirements perfectly since I cancelled with Afrihost this week.
Will it be automatically activated through the day? Seeing that there are no Debit Orders going off till next month.

Update : Few seconds after posting this question, received the account details.

Think I made the right decision

Update

Guild Wars 2 Client update ran at 420KBps - 430KBps constantly. 220MB update done in no time.
Steam updating Team Fortress 2 at around the same speed.

Latency in GW2 was around 230ms
Team Fortress 2 around 22ms and higher. Really impressed.

afrihost users must stay on afrihost i dont want IS to become **** again :)
 
just signed up for there standard 4mbps uncapped hoping the latency is good again 500ms everytime i wanna play with afrihost was pathetic!now to just wait 8 hours till they send my details!
 
Hi MrBeep. Just a query on your 10Mb Unshaped After Hours account @ R899. I know the account states unshaped after hours and I just need clarity that it is so and that I would be able to utilize my full line speed with no shaping or throttling on any protocol. All this obviously after hours
