Hi Del Piero 10,

We tried using different routing for you first. Now we have tried a port reset. If this doesnt work, we will move you to an entirely different network. If this does not work, you will need to look at using a different router. If your issues still persists, you would need to log an official fault on your Telkom line.

At the end of the day, the fault will be resolved.

Now that's what I call kick ass and thorough troubleshooting :)
 
Adjusting the routing on my service apparently solved my problems. Thank you.
 
My torrent speed also crashed this week to around 5kbps, anybody found a solution?
 
Just some feedback.

Ive been using openweb since 7th of Feb.

Still happy here too, no major problems since July last year :)

Weirdly, things were ridiculously fast yesterday afternoon through earlier this afternoon - was praising whoever worked on the Western Cape issues.

Last hour or so though things have started to deteriorate for some reason - speedtest is dropping below 6mbps on 10mbps Silver account. Hopefully just a blip.
 
Speeds are back to normal after hours, things are ridiculously fast. Hopefully earlier today was just a blip.
 
there is definitely something wrong with my account or line somewhere. I'm getting latencies of 700 in GW2 when I'm used to latencies of 200 on this account.

Edit: Yes, there is definitely something big wrong somewhere.

If yours is still bad, might be worth having Telkom check your line before taking it further with Openweb

All has been resolved on the Western Cape link.

I have tested your account and cannot replicate these issues.

Kindly contact Telkom on 10210 to have them recreate your port. If this does not resolve the problem, please try using a different router. If this does not resolve the problem, please log a fault with Telkom.
