That's weird. Ever since I had Gold Uncapped I get between 35 and 40KB/s on normal http downloads and news servers. I was on IS, Neology, BCS, IS & then VB, until VB problems started in December.

I know P2P gets shaped to hell on most of the Gold Uncapped backbones, but not normal http downloads.

Looks like everything is back to normal.
 


Here we go again. This is not an After Hours Uncapped ADSL. Sending an e-mail to go back to VB.

I'm not sure if there is a problem with the shaping. It was fine until Monday. It's perfectly fine after-hours though.

MrBeep moved me back to VB and it's running amazing (thanks MrBeep).
 


This is not an After Hours Uncapped ADSL account. It is suppose to be Gold Uncapped

DSLheaven still problematic - getting very high latencies and spikes. Will see what happens else I will mail MrBeep tomorrow to change back to VB.
 
Weird that you DSLHeaven guys are having problems, mine is still going like a boeing on this side. Haven't really experienced any high latencies, except for a little bit than higher local latency, international wise sub 200 pings. The only thing that isn't so nice is the HTTP speeds I'm getting at the moment via Megaupload. It fluctuates between 85kb/s - 150kb/s, whereas on VB it nearly ran full line speed. Perhaps HTTP is shaped more than usual, or after 12pm it will run at full line speed ?

All I know is that NNTP flies at full line speed 24/7 no matter what and Youtube streaming is still excellent, although after 12pm Youtube does struggle, pretty much the same symptoms the users in the Webafrica thread are experiencing.
 
My DSLHeaven account is back to normal after 8pm. Earlier tonight it was like 80k/s and Keoma advised it's ADSL exchange issues rather than ISP.
