What does speedtest.net say? @ow is all IS afaik (or at least always in my case).

speednet reports download speed as 34....and upload around 12.....ping is 54ms

Oh yah....IS. I am not sure being on Gold is making much of a difference.

I have no idea what I am on.....its an @openweb.co.za....used to be on VB then was moved when there were problems.

iirc @openweb is IS.

WOW!!! I can browse again!!! Used to be Gold, but why pay extra and not get much more in return, so I am back on standard at 170 bucks (one of those specials).

I'm also cancelling to get a standard cheaper account, I fail to see what the premium I'm currently paying is for. Throttling sucks.

DSLHeaven used to be the best for gaming (Especially international as pings are around 50 - 70ms less than other backbones) but now days its crap. As you said, very high packet loss as well as timing out.
