Openweb uncapped ADSL feedback

Can anyone give me a review of the 100GB Budget Unshaped ADSL for R798? Get full speeds, pings?

Im also interested in this, i'm with Afrihost at the moment. But think there DC is in JHB and not Cape Town, hence my local latency is poor. Where does OpenWeb's IPC terminate ?

Getting 80ms to myadsl.co.za, with webafrica more like 20-30ms.

So I was wondering, how is the Standard package for a Heavy downloader? and maybe for online gaming?

Very good if you are on the IS backbone. That is a pure winner max 1mb speed all the time on IS all the time!
 
Something seriously wrong with international connectivity on my side (0.17MB/s to Liverpool on 4Mbit Gold IS), can somebody confirm?

NNTP running full steam however :confused:

Same thing on myside with a afterhours 4Mbit connection.
What is strange is that if I download a single file from rapidshare I get 50kbs but I can download 7 files at 50k.

Thanks, going to email him now too. Probably an IS issue then.

Mine are all screwed... OpenWeb, Afrihost and even the Cybersmart / connect one.

I am also getting slow speeds on IS today, but I am in North West.
 
I've been getting an average of 20KBPS on my Gold plus 1mb since I signed up a week and a half ago bleh, Go to bed (10pmish) and its going at 10kbps, wake up and its at 100kbps then goes back down to 10 early morning.
 
This is a capped Afrihost account (4Mbit):

IS is buggered, my Gold account running slightly better than this. I have emailed MrBeep and he has logged a fault with IS.
 
I sent a call in, was told I would be called back and sent a mail in, neither has been actioned. Optimal has a point, this was after calling twice and your tech team being "unavailable".
 
All mails have been responded to. If you have not received a response, please use the below facility

- SMS the word: openweb
- followed by your message to 34110. SMS's cost R2
Eg: openweb I forgot my password. My ow num is 5891

Ever since the announcement of lower IPC costs my VB gold uncapped has been poor. Cannot even stream supersport on a 4mb line without buffering.
