Openweb uncapped ADSL feedback

Does anyone know when the new clientzone will be ready to access?

I recently signed up on one of Openweb's uncapped specials.
When querying with support as to my client zone logins, I was told that since I signed up for a special - there was no client zone access for me as yet.

My question - What does client zone access provide you with? Is it just usage numbers?

Just a quick question. I'm thinking of getting the Uncapped vanilla 384 @ R89 per month. How are the speeds and contention ratios? Is it worth going for the product? I just need basic uncapped for home. No hectic downloading but I want the option of being able to download and upload youtube vids without worrying about a cap being blown.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

I have the same problem,I was told that its currently in a testing phase and will be released once all the bugs have been corrected. Commonly a client zone shows usage reports, billing details, invoices, specials...etc

??..Wonder what they are working on..??
 
Been getting 60KBbp on a 1 meg Gold account (VB backbone) for the past 2 days. Is there a general problem?

OT: Wtf happened to MrBEEP? Before he used to be like "Hey Friends!! :)", and now he's like all formal and sh#% :wtf: I don't like this clone, just saying! :(

I'm on 1 meg Gold (VB Backbone) I am getting a steady 110 kBps and have been for the last two days so I assume it's either your line or account.

We have totally redeveloped the CP from scratch that is why it is taking so long.

Did anyone else also get an email with the subject "Save up to a R100 a month on Gold Uncapped"

And the body of the email:

"Hi

Thanks for being a loyal email subscriber. We appreciate hearing from you. Let us know if you ever have any questions."

I almost got excited and thought that I would pay R100 a month less now because I'm a loyal subscriber, but doesn't appear to be the case. :(
 
Has vb just died? Or is it just me?

Died for me as well. MrBEEP put me on a *@mynetwork.co.za account (whatever backbone that is) and it's going at about 80-90% line speed which is faster than my VB account was going at. As soon as the VB issues have been sorted out I'll request a move back.

What does Speedtest say your backbone is?
 
Connection still down for you guys? Trying to Skype call my wife but the internet died a while ago and guiding her through diagnosis over whatsapp from a different country is proving quite difficult.

Sorry I was just happy that I was getting some decent speed again that I didn't check :D it's an IS account which is kinda surprising as they're usually not the best for NNTP.
