Hi Forge

We are currently in a closed beta testing phase. Once all the bugs etc have been ironed out, new signups will be on the CP. We will then start our migration of current clients onto the CP.

This is really great news, how about some screenshots to tease us non-beta testers before launch MrBEEP :D?

My cancellation confirmation came through this morning. From July I no longer will have my precious 4MB Gold :(

It was a very difficult decision, but unfortunately my budget is taking a beating and needed to save money somewhere. Also I only have 200GB of storage left and cannot afford new hard drives either, so won't be downloading so many 1080p Linux distros.

How is the standard 4MB uncapped? Will be looking in July for a new package.

Why not try our new Vanilla Uncapped 4Mbps for R395? It is shaped, with a higher contention than Gold, but it is a good product!
 
Though I am no longer a customer I'm happy to see OW is upgrading their client portal :)

Just am interested in the Silver 4mps Openweb option.....is the price of R599 inclusive of adsl line....or is that just for the 4mps. I have not had adsl before, am going out of my mind with all the options, and frankly not all websites are clear on this. WebAfrica isvery clear wrt this. Choose your option, this is the cost. Add and adsl line? This is the new cost!!

you need to add adsl line 4mps going at R413 and telkom Pots analog line rental @ R139 odd
 
HI, will the Uncapped lite product be good enough for gaming. As Im not using this line to download at all?

Thanks appreciate the feedback...I'm curious about my usage at the moment:D
Was with Afrihost just before they dropped there prices this month, was on their business 1Meg Uncapped unshaped product but I must say the word "business" did not make any difference.

So far OpenWeb has been excellent.
 
Hi guys, does any1 have any feedback on the vanilla products and how well it works with gaming (Diablo 3/WoW) and Steam downloads? We have 3 gamers in our household!
 
how would you guys rate a 4mg uncapped adsl line for xbox live. Want a 4mg uncapped line due to i download a lot but also wanna game on it
 
Get it on the IS backbone works fine with xbox live....
 
What backbones are offered on the vanilla uncapped accounts? Any 1 know?
