Openweb uncapped ADSL feedback

My Telkom line is now a 2mb, but I am still sitting on a 1mb uncapped STD with Openweb at R300 +- a month. Do I need tyo phone for an upgrade ? Thought at R300 a month they would have switched me over for free, I mean the current 2mb uncapped is R297.

My friends line was done without him asking even at same cost

Anyone been have serious latency issues? I am on OpenWeb gold and my pings have been really terrible the lasts few days.
I've had pings go from 23 to 1500ms in the space of a few minutes. Gaming is currently impossible because of the extremely erratic speeds and latency.

No latency issues this side.

Not sure about during the day, but in the evenings both latency & throughput is stable - even on my standard package.
 
I am very happy with my 1mb line, I am so scared to change and then they put me on the wrong backbone and blah blah and takes ages to sort out.

My line is very stable and gaming latency are not higher than 200ms...
 
I have dropped Keoma a mail as I am experiencing really slow international speeds on my 4m gold.

Download Speed: 94 kbps (11.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 344 kbps (43 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 278 ms

Anyone else having a problem at the moment?

Time for a backbone switch or another ISP altogether, I'm so sick of IS issues, it's like 2 a month at present, sometimes more.

Not going to help in this instance, it seems to be affecting everybody.
 
Well at least we know they are attending to it. So we just have to sit tight and wait.

I am on IS and have had zero issues today with international connectivity.
