OS X Yosemite - Developer Preview 3

I installed Xcode 6 Beta tonight. Will be trying Swift to see how it works.

Safari needs some work. I don't like how you need to click in the address bar when you open a new browser window. Plus there's a significant delay before you can type in it while the bookmarks grid builds.

They've addressed this

I also installed the public beta 1 last night. It looks quite snazzy. I like it.

I installed that beta program app that allows you to update via the app store, and last night there was no update to beta 2 as the tech blogs have been reporting.

Will try again this weekend.

Both as a matter of fact. The address bar is ready to go as soon as I open a new window/tab.

Busy downloading the public beta 2 update. Will see how that is. I saw the update notification on the Mac Appstore came last night.

I never had the Safari address bar delays. Guessing it is due to my SSD?

I think you're right. I only installed for the first time last night, so I don't have any bugs that I'd like resolved, and I haven't had a lot of time to play around with it. But will get the update as soon as I get home if it's available, then test it over the weekend.

Do any of you use parallels and a VM? Any issues there?

Only installed it yesterday. It feels like Xcode 5. Haven't played around yet with all the features.

Yeah, mine updated this morning. Running a little smoother. Some UI elements changed once again. Haven't noticed any issues as of yet.

Parallels 8 will not work with Yosemite, otherwise no problems with 9 and 10.

Installed 10 this morning and finding it a pretty worthless update - no major new functionality, just a slight UI update.
