**Pausing** ADSL Warning

Although you do not sign a contract with Teklom, putting your ADSL on hold for a couple of months is going to cost you R 404 to get it re-established again.
To "Pause" the service you have to request that the service be cancelled, and I know that they can just lock the ID if they wanted to. Bastards.

August 2004:
Ping to First Hop = 10ms.
Ping to Denmark (bzflag0.gamesunited.de) = 478ms.

August 2003:
Ping to First Hop = <1ms.
Ping to Denmark (bzflag0.gamesunited.de) = 186ms.

I pulled a file from Feb 2002 - back then you could just pause the service and then continue with it - no charge. (Printout of a page from the website back then) - the bastards.

well on the bright side 404 is cheaper than rental for a month ... but wait we are about hte only buggers in the word paying telko rental and instalation charge and unjustified at that
