Peering link down between Telkom LTE network and Internet Solutions

2nd time in 4 weeks this is happening!! Frustrating!!!

Last time I tried to explain to the Telkom Mobile call centre people that when doing a trace route from Telkom LTE network in the Rivonia area to Internet Solutions fails after the following hop: rrba-ip-se-2-gig-2-0-0-102.telkom-ipnet.co.za [196.43.25.138].

Only to find out they don't know what trace route is....

Hopefully some senior Telkom engineer reads this and fix it for Rivonia.

Found the problem I think....but who the hell do I tell?

The 154.* range on 8ta seems to be the problem. I restarted the router a couple of times until our public IP is on the 197.* range and now everything works beautifully.

Helloooooo Telkom engineer somewhere on the interweb....if you exists....fix the routing between 154.* on your network to Internet Solution.....please!!!

I will see if I can escalate this from my side to IS, even though it is a Telkom problem. Perhaps they can get in contact with the correct people at Telkom.

First have to go into a meeting, will then ping the contacts I have at IS.

That is, if it is still an issue.
