Hi,

My Son gave me this speaker and it works fine and gets detected fast by my cell phones and Raspberry Pi Zero W. But have no joy connecting to this speaker from his or my laptops. His laptop is running Win10 and mine is running Win 8.1.

Any help appreciated.

Look for the Bluetooth button on the speaker, press it first before checking for a device on windows.

Now on windows go to settings, devices, make sure Bluetooth is on, then click add Bluetooth or other devices, then select the speaker

Done that - sometimes speaker gets detected others not - never connects - :(

Edit:

Let me add that both laptops connect without issues to a Volkano Tornado Bluetooth speaker.

So it seems there's a problem with speaker
 
WIN 10 box is latest driver - 8.1 not sure - does not get updates so that it does not update to WIN 10.
