Sadly, the brief honeymoon is over. Back to a couple mbps. Oh well. @rain_mobile can you tell me the usage capacity on this cell?

@rain_mobile I’m curious, is it possible for a tower to move it’s signal around. Apparently my tower came back on Moneday, however placing the router in exactly the same spot yields no service. However when moving it to face the other side of the house gives a week and spotty connection. Any help. I have a b315 router, I know it’s not the best. I sommer want to put it outside. Has anyone tried it?

It looks like the tower went down today at around 10AM. It is still not up yet. Router stuck on "searching". If had to resort to connecting to B3 , just to have *some* (0.1mbps) internet.

Same here bru but you know what? 2 days ago fibre went live in my area, Malibu Village, and yesterday just out of boredom i did a quick speed test. I achieved a speed of almost 10mb download my bru! Consistently also. I did maybe 20 speedtests because my eyes couldn't believe it. Lol So ja I'm not sure if Rain fixed something or if its because the people over here are now all jumping onto the fibre bandwagon.
This morning it was down to just under 2mb which is still better than what I was getting all along. Not too bothered though, awaiting my fibre installation now but that's another sad story for another day!

I can imagine how you must feel I mean even getting 2 megabytes it’s like heaven to us ..

So I feel you on that ... yes rain will definitely loose out big time ... as soon as fibre it’s rolled out in our areas ... I mean if we paying 250 or 490 ... we will definitely jump on the 399 or 540 package no problem ... for speeds that’s consistent
 
You know the saying... "Once bitten, twice shy".
Rain is going to take a hiding once people have alternative solutions available. I for one will not support them even if they can promise me 1000Mb/s stable connection.

Crickets. Lekker. How many days does it take to restore service?

Fxxk it rain, I'm so over your fxxking whole product. Everything sucks. Every other tower i connect to gives me fxxing 0.5mbps down and like 8mpbs up. Same congested oversubscribed crap everywhere. I've been streaming TV for 3 days on a phone hotspot, because the only tower that kind of worked apparently takes days to fix. I'm so over aiming antennas and locking to bands and casting magic spells.

I'm looking into this and if there is coverage, cheers:
 
@rain_mobile, I never did get any email or callback. At this stage I don't care. What's the email gonna say? "Tower is down, we have no idea when it will be fixed. Have you tried rebooting your router."

Don't bother contacting me if you're going to state the obvious.
 
They optimized so much it exploded, haha. No, they just said they were "optimizing the network". It's all smoke and mirrors.
