This, many people who ordered after me have received their SIMS. i ordered on the 14th and nothing, i tweeted them yesterday no response yet.
Not me. I ordered on Monday and yet to receive anything. No feedback as well via email. Rain are behaving like a bunch of scammers.

received my sim yesterday (21/06) at 10am, still has not been activated, even after about 10 calls and numerous "chat" sessions...possibly worse than Telkom i say.

Best to get hold of the consultant on twitter they will be able to RICA the sim card for you.

So they missed another delivery date, (the 4th one now)
I ordered on the 7th..

today customer care told me:
RAM couriers are now handling the deliveries.
they have no way of tracking the deliveries
they do not know if my package have in fact been dispatched
they cant track anything.
.. and the backlog should be resolved before the end of the week and I can expect a delivery before Friday

yea right!

Ok so Friday have come and gone no delivery, the 5th time they make me watch my gate for nothing.

No. Ordered on the 14th June and chose for delivery slot for the 23rd June between 8-10am
Only then on the day read about the article where there is "massive" backlog and sms notification to customers.
Got no sms at all. Spoke to online chat on the same day.

--What did their support channel tell you?
From the conversation, I picked up that the courier company is RAM. So instead of asking Rain support I thought it will be better to ask the source...but to no avail cuz it seems they don't have tracking numbers

1. It does take 3 to 9 working working days to deliver you order
2. I did pick up that your order is scheduled for delivery you will receive a sms from ram when delivery is on route to you days to deliver you order.
3. I only have your order number
4. Ram will contact you when order is on route to you

--Extra Remarks
1. The fact that they send an email out to all customers that June is on us...
2. There is 1 week left of June, and for those who don't have their SIM cards/RICA'd yet...Basically STFU?
3. For those who already have their SIM cards, congratulations as you know have extended unlimited data?
(albeit speed might be slow)
4. My personal opinion, if RAM is not upholding their delivery service, contract another courier service...(except if Rain luvs to keep their eggs in 1 basket) courier competition is out there and I'm sure other couriers would love to provide their services for $$$

You actually had a delivery slot. I had nothing. Placed order and that was it. Only order received shown on dashboard.

I see they mentioned 9 workings days max. Lets see if this holds in my case.

I enrolled on 14/06 and today got the following email from them. But nothing is mentioned of when I will receive a SIM to use that data.

Thanks for being one of the first to join rain. As you know, we've experienced a few problems due to an overwhelming response to our offer, but we'd like to make it up to you. Your SIM and delivery fee, of R120, will be refunded (within 10 working days) and your data usage for June is on us. This means that you can enjoy free unlimited data in June and your free unlimited data days will only kick in from 1 July.

Placed my order on 6 June and no progress. Not sure if I should even activate the sim once I get it, because if they can't manage delivery how will they cope with billing.

Spoke to them this morning now this saying this week

last week they said that weeek during the week

same here, i tweeted them, twice, and haven't gotten a response. ordered on 14th.

The P20 Lite is the same price and it's blue at Telkom.
