If that's a dealbreaker for you, you can always get one of these PoE injector and power it via the Ratel. The benefit of course is that it is Gigabit, where the Ratel models with PoE are only 100mbit:

Hi Guys, I've just received my Ratel 8100, and would like to set it up with my Edgerouter-X and Calix 844g, but have no idea what port to use and I don't want to fry my stuff? Here are the power requirements

ER-X 24VDC, 2.5A (Supported Voltage Range 9 to 30VDC)
844G 12VDC, 2.5A (10 VDC min, 15 VDC max)

Can't comment on the Ratel, but I've had the Gizzu for more than a year already and it works great.

Ubiquity Edge router X and AP Lite fed via 24v POE
Huawei ONT fed via 12v cable

Power lasts about 3.5 hours before shutdown. It also charges quickly.

The Gizzu seems to have similar specifications to the Ratel 430P.
 
So I've received Ratel 8100, but should've done my research as there is no way to power my Unifi AP AC Lite (thought I would be able to power it through my ER-X-SFP, but that needs a 24v input), but the Ratel 8100 only have 12v out. Any way I can power the AP? Or will I have to get an Ratel 860p for the POE ports?
 
Also slightly disappointed with the 8100, the lack of POE limits its functionality.. I am trying to see what can be done with the 19v output - I wanted to use it to power laptops during outages but trying to find the right cable connectors for the laptop tips is proving to be challenging.

Will test a POE Injector from the 19v output and see if that will power the Unifi AP. Although I suspect this will not work correctly.

The right connector's is insanely difficult to get. I think Communica is the best place to get the pieces and then build it yourself

Could you get the 8100 to work with a POE device?
 
Really sorry for the delay - the POE injector I ordered for testing just arrived. I have plugged it in and it does power the AC-Lite, however 19v is not enough and it just ends up in a reboot loop :-( sorry. wish I had better news.

Not sure if I missed it, but has anyone managed to find the correct adapter / converter to get the Gizzu to power Frogfoot's ONT (Calix 801 Gv2).

Hi MarshMellow- Unless I am misunderstanding the question - The Gizzu's supplied DC cable will power this (DC connector has 2.1mm Inner diameter / 5.5mm Outer diameter) with 12v

Thanks! Wasn't sure as the connector seemed different. But tested it and it worked 100%. Just need to find an extension now to power the ONT and Router.
