Think im going to take the plunge and flash JB, which ROM is better out of the two:

RR v3.0.1
Paranoid Android v1.92

I'm running the latest ParanoidAndroid JB on my S3, it's a great rom with some nice features.

Going to give it a go on my S2 as well.;)
 
damn, got a bit side tracked on reading that win8 RTM got rls'd and forgot about JB on SGII, hehe.

Umm, just a new thought, if i flash the new siyah 3.5.2, would I be able to dual boot between the 2 JB roms ( RR & PA ) ?

Guys, this LPS modem is acting up again. It says emergency calls only. I rebooted the phone twice. Still there. I tried the *#*#4636#*#* again but it doesn't work.

It could be the network or your sim card too. Phone customer service and ask them to check your account/sim if it is soft locked

Im using RR 3.0.1.Everything is great other than the battery life.Its not very good.Waiting for the next update to see if it improves.Sticking with it though.Can work around it for the time being.Its a fantastic ROM.Hard to go back to ICS now.
Never knew ParanoidAndroid had a JB ROM available.Thanks for the heads up.

I found my experience with paranoidAndroid to be meh, tbh. However, on a larger screen it would be really good. Sticking with RR 3.0.1 for now.
 
Anyone else using RR 3.0.1 having problems with the wifi-hotspot? It only works when I set the security of the hotspot to 'open'. As soon as I try WPA then the laptop cannot connect to the hotspot.

There are apps on the market that will measure the rate of charge. Apparently the S2 charges at max 650mA (I think this is Samsung Specs for the S2). See if you can get an app and see at what rate it charges
