Guys, I've been out of touch with ICS/JB launchers. Which would you recommend? I know everyone talks about Nova, Apex and Trebuchet but I would like to hear your advice.

I actually bought the prime version to support the devs, and to get the notifications & other goodies.
Well, dont know about the others, but Apex has got a JellyBean HD theme, and its pretty darn good if you ask me...
Some have bought Nova Prime, well I have bought Apex Pro, and just loving the transitions, customisations etc with Apex... Been using Apex since the good ol' days of GB
From GB to ICS and now onto JB.Try them and judge by yourself I guess...

It is weird that directory bind works 100% for me, but not for him. We will try fix it today if he has not managed to fix it during the weekend.
hehehe ... yeah ... welcome to our world. We experiment and find that certain modems work better for certain users and that some of the roms need "fixes" to work 100% correctly.

Don't worry too much. Some guys reported problems and others not. A lot of us use the Siyah kernel - it is very stable, offers good battery life and has an awesome dual boot feature

Thanks guys. They both look very similar. I think I'll just try them both and see
I really like GO Launcher, have tried all the others but prefer the look and operation of GO so keep coming back to it.

Thanks pardus. How's the performance of Go-Launcher? A while back when I tried it, it felt a bit sluggish.

Is GO Launcher and GO sms developed by the same developer?

I think everything "Go" is one of their products. They have many.

Then I won't even look at GO launcher. With GO sms they took a very nice sms'ing app and ruined it for me with their cloud backup. They didn't respond to any plights to change backup to sd card and I uninstalled it. Now using Chomp SMS.

I use GoSMS and I love it. I don't use their cloud features. I use SMS Backup and Restore.

I used SMS backup and restore too until TB included in their app. No more need for SMS backup and respore

OT: I have MIUI (ICS) and I want to install 4.1.1. If I do a restore with TB, will the apps be properly restored?

No problem.
It should restore the apps and app data just fine. I know MIUI is slightly different, but I have had no problems restoring apps and data to and from stock sammy, RR, CM, Wanam, NEAT, etc
