I like its customization, battery life just how enthusiastic he is about creating a really great kernel. Yes he uses other sources but isn't that the open source way:) He does credit all his sources.

Well it seems you guys are happier on Dorimanx than Siyah. So it does sound promising testing his kernel again. Can you tell me what the differences are between the two kernels?

Dorimanx is based on siyah but added extra features and tweaked. 5.73 is experimental and not as stable though. I would wait till 5.74 if I were you.

I'm sure his 5.74 will be just as experimental. I don't mind testing kernels which are experimental - I have done so with NEAK, Dorimanx (a long time ago), Speedmod, Phenomenal and Siyah. All I want to know is what the significant changes/differences are between Siyah and Dorimanx. If it is not something worth while, I don't intend to go for Dorimanx' work, but if the differences have a WOW-factor, then I won't mind trying it.

I'll flash Dorimanx kernel with RR 3.06 when its out. Thanks for all the good info everyone...

Haha... Glad to see I'm not the only one with a flash addiction ;-)

"we added like 5000+ code lines!"

See now, i've done a little coding myself but this, this is something different.

I loaded 5.74 last night and it has been very stable so far. No wakelocks either. I really like this kernel!

Flashed Cm9 for first time. Everything works fine except play store.Keeps saying 'Server Error, Retry'. Im on MTN.

Would I need to factory reset going from CM9 to CM10?

Make a nand backup and then try installing over the previous version. If you a have dual boot kernel, then you can just clone CM9 to the second rom install CM10 over it to see if it works.

For those of you who need a download link for RR3.0.6, HERE

What an issue to find it though, because i can only ever download these things using Flashget downloader, and you need to be able to copy and paste a link into it -_-

For Dorimanx, find the list of downloads here and you can find 5.7.5 at the top: Kernel_Dorimanx-SGII-ICS-V5.75-T-14-34-D-04-09.zip

get ready for new 5.75 kernel.

see git, lets test it.

the 5.74 died to me today at morning alarm, so i have late to work by hour!

so i am suffering from stuff like that as others.

but i made more changes and reset kernel config to as it was at 5.69.

+ some critical fixing to system that can prevent sod.

i will upload to test, no formal change log, lets get it stable first!

i will delete 5.70 > 5.74 kernels!

So for all that like to wakeup by alarm, and have stable kernel use 5.69!

for all the rest follow me to 5.75!

Here is the link for 5.7.2 though, which was supposedly very stable.

5.74 has been pretty stable for me, no freezes or SODs...the best by far was 5.69.
