I've installed CM10 nightly but can't get Swiftkey installed. Everytime I get to step 2 where I need to select the input method from the settings tab, the thing brings up a tab saying that settings has stopped and the installer stops as well.

I've adjusted the settings manually in the System settings> lanuage and input tab, but now I get a warning saying Swiftkey won't work untill I complete the install process.

Anyone?

Oh, otherwise it's all running nicely but I might just go back to CM9's last stable if I can't fix it. NEED Swiftkey to work...

Yeah, no luck I'm afraid. I'll make a backup and try again after a few nights I think. Had 2 fc's also so back to 9.1 in the meantime.

I'm going try Super nexus on Saturday when build 3 arrives. At the moment I can't say whether or not it'll work. If you running siyah or dorimanx maybe try installing as 2nd ROM?

Well, both cm and aokp are aosp based. I would suspect that supernexus should work with dorimanx.

Also, dorimanx is essentially a modded siyah kernel, and afaik supernexus works with siyah.

It should work, make a backup and flash it, if it doesn't work you can always go back.

I've yet to see him fix bugs. He just ignores requests. He just releases updates whenever CM9/10 comes out. A real developer fixes bugs and makes improvements, like westcrip and gokhanmoral etc. I haven't seen him doing that. He just gets the latest sources from CM and repackages ROMs. I don't read xda all the time, so maybe I missed a time when he did.

+1 The clean rom does it for me
I had Dorimanx on SN yesterday but is froze every now and then so i reverted back to Siyah

Is the .zip on you internal storage?
 
I tried Dorimanx and I prefer Siyah. I got like 22 hours out of a charge with 2 hours 11 on screen time. It dropped 10% over night where as Siyah dropped 3% maximum.

I am on 80% battery on 9 hours so far, data usage on the entire day with wifi where I could find.
