Where can I get a class 10 32GB micro SD card cheapest in Cape Town?

I was looking for a 32GB Class 10 a while back, but never found one at any of the stores I looked. Then I bought this one instead:
http://www.kalahari.com/electronics...-MicroSD-Flash-Memory-32GB/4585/45789060.aspx

You can try specialist photography shops as well, if you need it urgently. Most suppliers of online stuff are closing now, which means it will be a while before you get it, if you order online.

BTW: there's some controversy on whether class 10 is that much better than class 6 (even for HD recording), considering the price difference. You might want to investigate that a bit, depending on what you want to use it for. :)

Thank you for your reply!

The link for the one on Kalahari is exactly what I want to purchase, but the waiting time is so long! :(

Guys I love Omega rom but the battery life is not that great.

Any ideas of similar roms that I can use Siyah and Dorimanx with?

If Omega is LSJ based, then no. Only stock rooted or PhilZ kernel... But wait... That's not all... GM is currently working on Siyah to use with LSJ. We should have a proper working kernel before Christmas (I hope). And as usual, the other kernel coders will copy/paste the relevant code into their kernels to cater for everyone.

Helly Rom

Hey guys,

Long time since I posted...
But you guys should really try out HellyRom --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1940321

Latest 4.2.1 version of JellyBean
Kernel that I'm using is the modified version of Siyah (mcm)...
and it works with STweaks ( yeh, not like Dorimanx, but good enough )

Try it, you'll love it.

Cheers
D

Ok, so I got myself a new Sandisk class 4 32GB micro SD card.

The reason why I went for a Sandisk, is that most people find that it's the only SD card that exceeds its own rated speeds, which I can confirm with this screenshot. :)

Almost wasted money on a class 10, which is more than double the price of the class 4 32GB.

I used that app once and understood that it measures the read/write speed of your phone and then tells you what kind of card you should get for optimal performance between phone and storage. When I used it, it gave me varying results from 6-15MB/s, but it always recommended the red/grey SanDisk cards.

Yeah, it always recommend the red/grey SanDisk cards, which are double the price of the Class 4 SD cards.

I've copied a 1080p mkv file to the SD card, and playback is perfect. And so is taking 8MP photos and Full HD recording.

Maybe Jelly Bean just makes everything a leetle bit faster, cos I really don't see the need for a faster SD card?

I'm using the one from samfirmware.com, works perfectly.

Thanks, just finished downloading it but damn thing won't extract for some reason

Trying another app now to extract.

EDIT: Okay extracted fine with different app, weird.

Prepare yourself to be SERIOUSLY impressed by how smooth it runs Jelly Bean & how superb Touchwiz Nature UX launcher is.

Enjoy!!

Any way to add website/bookmark shortcuts onto the touchwiz desktop?

Still cool to read reviews of other Samsung phones and then see the reviewer mention the fact that the Galaxy S2 is the only Samsung phone with a Super AMOLED Plus display, that Samsung has ever manufactured.....and that the AMOLED Pentile displays are just not in the same league.

Hi guys,

Im still on ICS, and its killing me with the laaaaaag. Im seriously considering flashing it and getting the JB rom that everyone, especially kingrob:D, is super impressed about. Just wondering if i should wait for the official release which they claim to be in Jan 2013 (or is it the one you guys have?) or just do it now? Also, i read that should you need to get the phone fixed you can just revert back to the original ICS and then your warranty will not be void, is this true?

Thanks!
