If I multitask with 2/more apps, it becomes 40 degrees +...If it were a software issue (probably is, but I have no idea what specifically causes it? I run CM just like every other S3 user in their right mind (lol)),
Im thinking I should flash Omega rom and see if it persists? Maybe even boot into safe mode and take that approach?
I really hope Omega doesnt fix it...AlL ThaT BloaTwaRe ;(

Will do :) Just would like to know: What do you consider a normal temperature for your smartphone to reach while under normal usage (for example google+ and browser and reddit app open, and multitaskin' between the three)?

I mean stats for average charging time, average discharging time, average %/hr decrease etc.

Haha same here. It's actually funny because my phone is on my face more than it is under my thumbs. I constantly feel the temperature of my phone screen.

Well I tried it and it did make it a bit better... But since I've switched back to CM and I've discovered that after fixing my permissions it has actually kind of drastically improved! I have no idea why this is though.

Are you running the latest version of Gapps? There's a new one for 10.2.
 
Roughly how often is a new Stable CM released?

I'm on the 10.1.3 Stable and would prefer to keep to the Stable releases.

Wouldn't mind getting 10.2 soon though!

Not very often at all.

10.1.3 was the first stable release I have seen since switching to CM. I was never in CM9 so can't comment on that.

Just go for the nightlies dude. Just because they are not called stable does not mean that they are not stable. They are in fact rock solid except for some very obscure things that won't affect you unless you are an android developer or a power user.

Just go for it!

When moving between Android Versions via CM Updates, do I need to flash new GApps (as per jarrodr above) or do the updates to GApps come with the CM update itself?

Also, does updating erase all apps and data? It's not clear here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Updating

If so, I take it I need to go through the Titanium Backup process again to get me back to where I was?

You will need to factory reset and get new Gapps when upgrading your CM. You should have reasonably up to date backups of your data at any given time. Just give your backups an update and start the move.
